This project is to furbish the existing Primary Health Centers (PHCs) (land, building, equipment, and supplies) already set up by the government. We anticipate each PHC to consist of an initial screening room with a computer, an examination room for the doctor, a laboratory for medical tests and supplies, and toilets. The furnishing will be simple, comfortable, and durable.

BEM Social Solutions Diabetes & Cancer Project. It aims are to radically change the way non-communicable diseases such as Diabetes is prevented and treated in Saint Lucia and throughout the Caribbean.
Almost everyone in Saint Lucia knows someone or a family/household dealing and trying to cope with Diabetes or a cluster of similar conditions such as - increased blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat around the waist, and abnormal cholesterol or highly elevated triglyceride levels — that occur together, increasing your risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes. These risk factors or symptoms are more commonly known as metabolic syndrome.
